Do you agree?
Why is Dav Pilkey ignoring Captain Underpants? He keeps pumping out these Cat Kid books with no plot point
I have been collecting these books for years now, and it’s pretty huge and diverse, and decided to share it with you guys! I’ve got first editions, misprints, imports, etc. So take a gander!
(This picture was taken in my basement, lol)
The next Super Diaper Baby book is titled Super Diaper Baby 3: The Ultimate Invasion.
It's coming Sep 3, 2023!

I've just thought long and hard about an idea for the last Captain Underpants book! Dav Pilkey may have wanted to end the series with book 12, but I think there are just enough loose ends that there could be one more book. This would also be the perfect way to end the franchise as a whole. (This is just for the books. I don't actually like the Netflix series, and it probably isn't canon unless Dav Pilkey says it is.) I feel like this could be Captain Underpants' EndGame. My working title is:
"CAPTAIN UNDERPANTS AND THE KANTANKEROUS KALAMITIES OF THE KRAZED KRUPPMAGEDDON"
In this book, George and Harold go up against their most dangerous enemy yet: their own principal.
The book starts off after a time skip, where things have gone back to normal since the last book. George and Harold are back to their mischief, there are no more villains trying to take over the world, and Mr. Krupp can't turn into Captain Underpants anymore. George and Harold have been writing a lot of Dog Man books lately, and everything seems fine. This book actually has a fresh start unlike the last few books.
But then one day, Harold announces to George that on the day after the last day of school, he'll be moving. His divorced father lives in Nevada, so he'll be going to move in with him.
Another month or so goes by, and soon it's only a couple days before the last day of school. George and Harold want to make their last days together special, so they decide to set up one final prank somewhere at the school. And it's their most elaborate, convoluted prank yet. It goes well, but unfortunately the boys get caught by Mr. Krupp. Mr. Krupp knows that Harold is going to be moving soon, but George will not, so he decides to have a meeting with George's parents.
Later that day Mr. Krupp goes to George's house to have a meeting with his parents about how he can be better-behaved next year, and George and Harold both wait in the treehouse while the adults are talking. While they are in here, they notice that they still have some of the Extra Strength Super Power Juice in the mini fridge in the treehouse, and there is still some juice left in it. Realizing that this juice has caused them nothing but trouble, they decide to throw it away in a trash can on the corner of the street. Eventually the meeting is over, and George's parents tell the boys that they are both banned from the graduation. Disappointed, they both know that they'll have to spend their last day together another way. Meanwhile, while Mr. Krupp is on his way home, he sees the Super Power Juice carton in the trash. Thinking that it's a bunch of bunk, he decides to pick up the carton and take it home with him. (Note that he has no memories of being Captain Underpants.)
The next day is the last day of school, but for some reason, Mr. Krupp isn't there. That evening, George and Harold both hang out at George's treehouse and decide to work on their last comic book together. (It could be a Captain Underpants or Dog Man book, but I would like it if it was that third "Hairy Potty" book. It was teased at the end of the Extra-Crunchy Book o' Fun back in 2002, but never actually happened.) Instead of selling this book on the playground, the boys decide to make it special by only making two copies: one for George and one for Harold. But then, they notice something strange in the distance: a fat, middle-aged man in a suit flying through the sky. George and Harold are in disbelief because they know that Captain Underpants is gone, and so it can't be him. They come a little closer to this man and they realize just who it is: Mr. Krupp. (Who Harold nicknames "Captain Pants.")
Krupp explains that he found some of the Super Power Juice in the trash, and so he took it home with him. He says that he didn't believe it would really give him superpowers, but then he found out that it did, and it made him genuinely happy for once in his life. But then, he gets a sinister idea: the corner of the carton says "do not microwave," and so, starting to get cocky, Mr. Krupp decides to go back to his house and microwave it. After this is done he drinks the rest of the juice until the carton is completely empty. Due to the radiation from the microwave and how much juice he drank, this causes Mr. Krupp to turn into a massive, primal, radioactive monstrosity, which Harold nicknames "Kruppmageddon." Using his powers, he decides to get revenge on George and Harold once and for all: by killing them.
Without Captain Underpants, George and Harold have nothing to fight Kruppmageddon, and so they run away screaming. But just then, their past selves show up in front of them in Melvin's squid-time machine thingy. After going through time again and again, they were finally able to rescue Crackers, Sulu, and their kids. But soon after their return, Kruppmageddon destroys the time machine, preventing any chances of them going back in time again. It also means that Yesterday George and Harold cease to exist, because they would have never gone back in time in the first place. And so there's nobody left except for present-day George and Harold, Crackers, Sulu, and their kids.
And this is where this book starts to truly get epic. George and Harold have nothing better to do, so they go to Melvin's house to borrow the PATSY 3000, his latest invention, which is a remake of the PATSY 2000 from book 2. Melvin lets them borrow it because he trusts George and Harold at this point in the series (he doesn't like them, but he trusts them), and so the boys take it up to their treehouse. Since Mr. Krupp can't turn into Captain Underpants, George and Harold decide to use the machine to create them himself. They draw a picture of Captain Underpants, which then comes to life to fight Kruppmageddon. Unfortunately it isn't enough. And so, George and Harold decide to draw as many of their characters as possible and bring them to life so they can take him on. Dog Man, Super Diaper Baby and Diaper Dog, Ook and Gluk, Boxer Boy and Great Granny Girdle, The Amazing Cow Lady, and many more characters (even the ghost of Wedgie Magee) are all brought to life to fight Kruppmageddon.
Once the fight is over, all of George and Harold's creations are victorious. Kruppmageddon lies sadly on the ground, defeated. He tells George and Harold something heartfelt that they never thought they would ever hear their principal say: that he is sorry for always being so hard on them, and that all he wanted was for them to behave. Afterwards Kruppmageddon fizzles away into raw energy. After this George and Harold have no choice but to destroy the PATSY 3000, which erases all of the characters they brought to life.
Due to the escapades of that night, the graduation is postponed to the next day, the day that Harold is leaving. Since he and George saved the world once again, the vice principal allows them to attend the graduation. With Mr. Krupp gone, he will be taking over the school next year, and since he's a lot nicer than Mr. Krupp, he plans on running the school a lot differently. All the kids are sad about Harold leaving... even Melvin misses him.
Later that day George decides to let Crackers, Sulu, and their kids live in his treehouse, which will no longer be Treehouse Comix, Inc. Mr. Krupp's old house is scheduled to be torn down. And just for extra closure, George destroys the 3-D Hypno Ring, which he had kept in the treehouse since book 5. But saddest of all, Harold is moving away to Nevada. He and George say a heartfelt goodbye, and then Harold leaves Piqua with his mom and a couple moving trucks.
The final epic novel ends a few months later, when George gets a letter in the mail. It says "To: George Beard - From Harold Hutchins."
Let me know what you all think of this idea! Remember, this is supposed to be dark and emotional for a children's book, because it's the last one.
