Buzz Tomski and his Crew are members of P.O.O.P.S.I.E. They only appear in Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy - Part 2: The Revenge of the Ridiculous Robo-Boogers, where they inadvertently bring the Robo-Boogers back to Earth.
Role in series[]
Major Tomski and his crew appear in the seventh book, traveling on a P.O.O.P.S.I.E. shuttle. While investigating Robots and Toilets on Uranus, their shuttle is splattered by the Ridiculous Robo-Boogers, who were spat out to Uranus by Sulu at the beginning of the book. Soon, Ground Control contacts the shuttle via the P.O.O.P.S.I.E. space phone, where Major Tomski informs them that the shuttle was splattered by three Unidentified Squishy Objects. This causes Ground Control to state that the mission is getting too strange, so, acting on Ground Control's orders, Major Tomski turns the shuttle around to take it back to Earth. However, upon landing at Piqua International Airport, the Robo-Boogers start to eat the shuttle, and Major Tomski and his crew barely escape with their lives.

- The name 'Buzz Tomski' is a nod to NASA astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the moon.
- The chapter title 'Ground Control to Major Tomski' is a nod to a lyric from David Bowie's 'Space Oddity', 'This is Major Tom to Ground Control'.
- When the Robo-Boogers are shown eating the shuttle, the 'P' from the POOPSIE logo is missing, so it now reads 'OOPSIE', likely a joke about Ground Control mistakenly returning the Robo-Boogers to Earth
