Captain Underpants and the Senseless Torment of the Space Toilet is the 1st episode of The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants in Space.
Synopsis
George and Harold convinced Mr. Krupp to send Jerome Horwitz Elementary School on a space school trip to outbest his "rival", Moxie Swaggerman. When Dr. Shifty Fitzgibbons lies to everyone about his experimental project, F.L.U.S.H.E.R., go wrong and turn into a monster, George, Harold and Captain Underpants go investigate, However, Captain Underpants accidentally turns his lie into a truth when he accidentally flushed Fitzgibbons' space chemicals into F.L.U.S.H.E.R.
Trivia
- This is the first Captain Underpants episode to take place in outer space.
- George says "Space Is The Place!. This is a reference to the Sun Ra song, album & movie.
- Captain Underpants gets slammed on the toilet and a bit of water splashes, then he has tears dropping down from his eyes while getting sucked away by the toilet exploding making Harold and George think that he's died from the explosion, he doesn't at all turn back into Mr. Krupp from the splashed water or his own tears, possibly because they weren't powerful enough to close him down to Mr. Krupp again.
- This is the first episode where Other Sophie and Gooch Yamaguchi have their eyes seen behind their glasses.
- This Is Dr. Fitzgibbonz, Jet Wingman, Hailey Comett, Dupe Licitous, Moxie Swaggerman And F.L.U.S.H.E.R.'s Debut.
