Trivia[]

  • Besides Len Forgione voicing all the characters, George and Harold would have child actors for certain scenes, such as their comic narrations, their sign changes, and when they interrupted a chapter for a Sound-O-Rama.
    • George and Harold would also have extra lines that are not from the paragraph of the book.
  • In Audiobook 10, a song not from the original book played when George and Harold saw themselves 30 years in the future; it is named "Harold and George are Grownups Song."
  • In Audiobooks 9, 10, 11, and 12, they use music from Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot audiobooks; the music was also composed by Scotty Huff.
  • In Audiobook 7, Frankenbooger and Trixie have lines that are not in the original book when they are angered by The Underpants Dance.
  • Captain Underpants's battle cry is used in audiobooks 9,and 10, even though it is not in the original books.
  • The Goosy-Grow 4000 uses the same sound effects as the growing machines from the Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot audiobooks. These sound effects are used in audiobooks 10, as well when the Hamsterdactyls carry the Turbo Toilet 2000 and when Sir Stinks-A-Lot becomes a giant blob in audiobook 12.
  • In Audiobook 11, many people calling Big Melvin, such as Ran-Out-of-Milk Guy, Hair Dry Dye Women, Toilet-Got-Clogged Guy, No Wi-Fi Guy, and Guy, say “Yo, Big Melvin!” 6 times each.
  • The World's Oldest Comic (Starring Ook and Gulk) chapter in Audiobook 10 is 12 minutes long.
  • Audiobook 9 has a super speed backwards tape sound effect in Chapter 30.
  • The Audiobook 3 version of Dandelion of Doom has lines not from the book when Captain Underpants beats it up.
  • Paul Gagne, Steve Syarto, and Scotty Huff also did the Ricky Ricotta's Mighty Robot audiobooks. The narration and all character voices were done by Oliver Wyman.
  • The audiobooks were also released in Epic; however, only the first 6 are available, probably due to the long hiatus from the 6th one to the seventh.
  • You can listen to this on Audible.
