Present Harold and George, who are still sick, witness what Mr. Meaner is doing; however, they can't smell, so the stench has no effect on them. Harold and George are almost better, and that isn't a good thing, so they go to their parents, who are having dinner with Heidi and the boys' yesterday counterparts. George and Harold's parents talk about how their now-brainwashed yesterday counterparts are a big improvement over their past behavior. Feeling betrayed and rejected by their own parents, the present counterparts leave in a deep depression.

- Despite Grace Hutchins making multiple appearances in The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, Heidi's existence is never acknowledged. In a comment's reply for one of his behind-the-scenes videos, show producer Todd Grimes stated that the writers' difficulty developing a storyline to introduce Heidi is the main reason for her current absence from the series.[1]
