Larry Zarrow is one of the newscasters for Piqua's Eyewitness News. He is first mentioned in Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants as one of the people who had their names changed by Professor Poopypants. Larry later appears in Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman, reporting on the developing 3-D Hypno-Ring crisis.

He is mentioned by coworker Ingrid Ashley as one of the people whose names were changed by Professor Poopypants. His name being changed to 'Booger Stinkersquirt'.

He is seen announcing that the Li'l Wiseguy Novelty Company, the company that created the 3D Hypno-Ring, has been shut down because of the widespread pandemonium caused by the rings, and most importantly, because when it is used on females, they act strangely and do the opposite of what they are supposed to do.
