Status Update[]

Captain Underpants makes a minor appearance in this film.[1] Here, he scares a deer with his battle cry, flies past it, and lifts it up. Then, Kyle Bird talks about Tresh, a smartphone app that he has that brings all of his wildest real-world fantasies to life, and Dani shows up and tells Captain Underpants that the waistband warrior has appeared in twelve epic movels and a graphic novel by George Beard and Harold Hutchins.

Suddenly, Charlotte shows up in panic, saying, "Help! The Inedible Hunk has risen from the trash can in the cafeteria of Piqua Elementary School in Piqua, Ohio! He just ate up fifteen folding chairs and somebody!" and Kyle asked, "Oh, no! Not folding chairs! Who was it?" Charlotte replies, "The gym teacher," leading Kyle saying, "Thank god! I thought it was somebody important!" After Kyle fearfully says, "This looks like a job for..." his graduates cheerfully say, "Captain Underpants!" This is a reference to the emergency lines in The Really Cool Adventures of Captain Underpants and Captain Underpants and the War of the Wily Wonder Nerd from The Adventures of Captain Underpants and Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy - Part 2: The Revenge of the Ridiculous Robo-Boogers, respectively. Before Captain Underpants leaves to stop the Inedible Hunk at Piqua Elementary School, he tells Kyle that the high school graduate is right: Tresh has brought Captain Underpants to life, meaning that the waistband warrior is Kyle's wildest real-world fantasy.

Moreover, the Captain Underpants theme song plays twice: the first time is where Captain Underpants chases the deer; and the second time is where he leaves to save Piqua.
