Plungerina is the superhero alter ego of Erica Wang. She first appears in "The Problematic Pandemonium of the Punishing Plungerina." However, a comic book drawing of her made a cameo at the end of a previous episode, "The Vexing Villainy of the Vile Vimpire."
Appearance[]
She wears a purple superhero costume, has plungers for makeshift claws like X-Men's Wolverine and plunger stilts.
History[]
The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants[]
In the "The Vexing Villainy of the Vile Vimpire," Plungerina makes a appearance as a comic book drawing, albeit with a completely different design. It is possible that she starred in her own comic book before appearing in a Captain Underpants comic.
In the "The Problematic Pandemonium of the Punishing Plungerina," a collaboration with Erica Wang leads to George and Harold making an "awesome plunger vigilante who fights for justice from the shadows," as George describes to Ms. Hurd, named Plungerina. An attempt at making Cloggernaut out of a clogged toilet and Mr. Rected to prove that Cap is superior goes downhill until she saves the day, setting the boys on a quest to find Plungerina's true identity. Trouble arises when they suspect Ms. Anthrope of being Plungerina and accidentally turn her into Clogneta. Once she merges with the returned Cloggernaut, an overpowered Plungerina now finds herself in need of help from the boys and Captain Underpants, who is stuck at the Princi-pals Convention with Melvinborg.
Superpowers[]
Plungerina has no actual superpowers and instead fights with plungers, three in each hand, that she holds. Erica revealed that she used plunger stilts to make Plungerina tall.
Comics[]
Plungerina first appeared in a comic called "Plungerina and the Pounding of the Pestering Poopasaurous". She later appeared in "Captain Underpants and the Catastrophic Cloggernaut, featuring Plungerina".
