Ultraman is a fictional character in the DC Comics. Created in 1964 by Gardner Fox and Mike Sekowsky, he is portrayed as an alternate reality evil version of Superman from the Earth-Three/Earth-3/Earth 3 and Antimatter Universe as a member and leader of the Crime Syndicate/Crime Society Supervillain teams. Each version has equivalent powers to Superman, but opposites reflected in their personal story. These include changes such as becoming stronger through Kryptonite as a Kryptonian (as Kal-Il). He's also been portrayed as a human astronaut named Clark Kent who receives power from aliens.
The Preposterous Plight of Captain Blunderpants parodies Ultraman (human Clark Kent)'s origin story.
In 2019, the superhero-horror film Brightburn focused on a kid very similar to Ultraman.
