Since I already made backstories for Bo and Gooch, I made a backstory for Jessica as well! This backstory is about how she became the popular / mean girl at the school. Please note that at the beginning of the backstory, Jessica doesn’t know the Sophies yet.

The story starts with a couple named Yasin and Isobelle. They were both obsessed with drugs and alcohol. They later got married after 10 years of being together. Everything was cool for both of them at first. However, soon, Isobelle got pregnant, and she soon decided to make a change. She got completely clean off any drugs and alcohol and got a job. Yasin, on the other hand, didn’t make the same changes, so after that, they would often argue about how Yasin, “wouldn’t take better care of himself” as Isobelle described it.

When Isobelle had her first child, she named her Jessica. Isobelle was happy until Yasin told her that they lost the house because he didn’t pay any of the taxes. Because of this, Isobelle lived in a separate house than Yasin with Jessica but they were still legally married until one day Yasin went to jail for selling drugs. Because of this, Jessica grew up without him.

Jessica had one best friend; Jazmyn Corrigan. They had a lot in common. Jessica would always talk to Jazmyn about how she felt guilty for not knowing who her father was. Jazmyn would always support her.

Years later, Isobelle married Jessica’s stepfather, Hamish Howard, and then had Jessica’s half-sister, Priscilla.

After a few more years, when Jessica turned 10, Yasin called Jessica to let her know that he was freed from prison and asked if she’d like to come to his new house. She obviously said yes because she really wanted to know her father was. Priscilla came along, too. To their surprise, Yasin re-married only a few days after he had gotten out of prison. Yasin’s new wife was named Bridie Bonilla.

Jessica honestly didn’t like hanging out at her dad’s house, because he and his wife and his wife’s family were just strangers to her, and here’s why: soon, Yasin and Bridie started to argue. Normally it’s normal for couples to argue, but they argued almost every time Jessica went there. Whenever this happened, Jessica would have to cover Priscilla’s ears.

Only a month later, Yasin divorced Bridie and re-married AGAIN to another woman named Tamara Sweet. Jessica and Priscilla went to his house again and it got even worse. Yasin and Tamara would argue just like he did with Bridie. However, this time, in the middle of their arguing, Yasin would ask Jessica and Priscilla to put their shoes and coats on and go outside before going back to arguing. Jessica was feeling bad for poor Priscilla, who almost got mumps because of how cold it was outside.

Then only ANOTHER MONTH later, Yasin divorced Tamara AGAIN and re-married ONCE AGAIN to another woman named Regina Hoover. Regina already had 3 other children; Poppy Hoover, Bella “Bel” Hoover and Terry “Tessa” Hoover. As you might have expected, Yasin and Regina argued all the time like he did with Bridie and Tamara. It was bad for all 5 children, especially Tessa, the youngest daughter.

Soon, Yasin and Regina had 2 more children together, Lola Hoover and Catherine “Cathy” Hoover. Soon, taxes became really hard to pay for Yasin. Despite the fact that Jessica and Priscilla really liked their half-siblings and tried to stay in touch with them, Jessica would make up excuses so that she wouldn’t have to go to her dad’s house and only went when she had to.

Because of this, Isobelle went back to her old ways and divorced Hamish. It was very hard for Priscilla to see her father go, but Jessica helped her get through it.

Jessica, being the older daughter, was pressured by Isobelle by being the same things she was; mean, girly, and have the biggest hair ever. Of course, she wasn’t forced to do drugs or alcohol since she was only 10, but she became a bad, popular girl. It soon came to the point where she started her own clique.

Soon, Jessica met this girl named Jane Turner. She asked her why she was crying, and she replied that it was because her father was in jail for breaking a law, and Jessica could relate. To help her feel better, she invited her to her new clique, and Jane accepted. In this clique, however, she wasn’t known as Jane, but was instead known as “Sophie.” Jane had now become one of the popular girls.

Then later, Jessica and Jane (or Sophie) met a girl named Susan Velasquez. Jessica asked her what was wrong, and Susan replied that she and her father got into a car crash. Lucky for her, she didn’t get very hurt, so she survived. Her father, on the other hand, sadly did not.

Jessica invited Susan to join the popular girls, so she accepted. Because Susan was now part of the group, Sophie’s name was changed to “Sophie One”, and Susan’s name was changed to “Sophie Two.”

Sophie One and Sophie Two became very chatty. So chatty that Jessica was fed up with it, so she made a rule that Sophies aren’t allowed to speak. Soon, Jessica was angry at Sophie Two because she could “barely do anything right”, so Jessica demoted her to “Other Sophie.”
